Terms of Use

Effective date: October 18, 2026 Last updated: October 18, 2026

Welcome. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of elizabethanninteriors.com (the "Site"), operated by Elizabeth Ann Interiors, LLC ("EAI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The Site and our services

The Site shares information about EAI, our work, and our offerings: the Design Therapy Session, The Clarity Session, the Empowered Experience, and the Embraced Experience.

Browsing the Site is not hiring us. Booking an Alignment Call, submitting a form, or exchanging emails does not create a design agreement. Our services begin only when you and EAI sign a written agreement and any required payment is made. That agreement controls the scope, fees, timeline, and responsibilities for your project. If it conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement controls for the services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site and to book services.

3. Information on the Site is general

Everything on the Site, including blog posts, newsletter content, and descriptions of how we work, is shared for general inspiration and information. It is not a substitute for a personalized design plan.

EAI provides interior design services only. Nothing on the Site is architectural, engineering, structural, electrical, plumbing, legal, financial, medical, or mental health advice. Our "Design Therapy Session" is a design consultation. It is not therapy, counseling, or clinical treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Any work involving structural changes, permits, or code compliance requires licensed professionals.

4. Our intellectual property

All content on the Site belongs to EAI or is used with permission. This includes text, copy, the brand name "Elizabeth Ann Interiors," the "Design with Depth" name, the Alchemy of Living and Tender & Fierce names, logos, the wordmark, color palette, design concepts, photographs, graphics, and the overall look and feel of the Site.

You may view the Site and share links to it. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, scrape, or create derivative works from any content without our written permission. This includes using our photos, copy, or brand elements to promote another business, or using Site content to train any AI or machine learning system.

Portfolio and project photography. Photographs of projects may be owned by EAI or by the photographer and are protected by copyright. Appearing in our portfolio does not grant anyone a license to reuse the images.

Nature photography. Unless otherwise credited, the nature photographs on this Site were taken by Elizabeth Ann, owner of EAI, and are protected by copyright. They may not be downloaded, copied, edited, or used for any purpose, including by other businesses, social media accounts, or AI tools, without written permission.

Design work product. Mood boards, floor plans, design concepts, and other deliverables created for a client are governed by that client's design agreement. Absent a written agreement stating otherwise, EAI retains ownership of its designs and grants clients a license to use them for their own project only.

5. What you send us

When you submit a message, photo, form entry, or other content through the Site ("Submissions"), you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it. You give EAI a limited, non-exclusive license to use your Submission to respond to you and evaluate or carry out a potential project. We will not publish your Submission or identify you publicly without your permission. Please do not submit anything unlawful, confidential to someone else, or that includes information you do not want us to have (see Section 1 of the Privacy Policy).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose

  • Attempt to access areas of the Site, accounts, or systems you are not authorized to use

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security

  • Introduce viruses or malicious code

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to collect Site content or data

  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate any person

  • Submit false or misleading information

We may restrict or end your access to the Site if you violate these Terms.

7. Eco-conscious practices

We care about the environment and describe our sustainable practices in good faith, including our "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" approach. These are goals and commitments we strive to meet, not guarantees. Availability of eco-friendly materials, certifications, and vintage or reclaimed pieces varies by project, budget, and supplier, and we cannot promise that every material or product will carry a particular certification or environmental attribute. Product claims come from manufacturers, and we rely on them in good faith.

8. Testimonials and project examples

Project stories, photos, and client comments on the Site show real work, but every home, budget, and client is different. Past projects do not promise or predict the same look, timeline, cost, or experience for your project.

9. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party websites, products, or platforms (such as Instagram, Substack, vendors, or showrooms). We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Using them is at your own risk.

10. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, email elizabeth@elizabethanninteriors.com with: your contact information; a description of the work you claim is infringed; where the material appears on the Site; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your information is accurate and that you own or are authorized to act for the owner of the copyright. We will review and respond promptly.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, EAI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or current.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EAI and its owner, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to $100.

This section applies only to use of the Site. Liability for design services is governed by your signed design agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of this may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EAI and its owner from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your Submissions, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to that court's jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, we both agree to try to resolve the issue informally by contacting each other in good faith for at least 30 days.

15. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms, change or remove parts of the Site, or end access at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date will change. Continuing to use the Site means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and EAI regarding the Site.

  • Severability. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, it does not mean we give up the right to do so later.

  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
